• 1/2 lb. dry pinto beans, soaked overnight and drained
  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned
  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 1 large can (28 oz) tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 can (4 oz) chopped chile peppers, mild or hot
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Seasoned salt to taste

Put all ingredients in a Crock Pot in order listed. Stir once. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.

Serves 4 to 6.
